Here's a cowboy kitchen: chuckwagon with tent thrown up, and dutch ovens cooking over a fire. The dutch ovens on the left have hot coals on top of the lids. They're making peach cobbler, mainly.

I'm not sure why there's an oak branch bolted to the top of this. I suppose it used to be a pole (lever) used to operate it.

Here's the back of the chuckwagon. You can see that they took the cloth that would normally cover the wagon (from a "covered wagon") and flipped it forward to make a tent. I presume the tent poles were carried in on the wagon.

I actually didn't know what funnel cake was until I saw them making it here. I knew it was like a doughnut, but I hadn't actually seen one or eaten one before.
